Recruitment Consultant \n\nJob Type: Permanent\n Salary: £35,000 basic + bonus scheme (OTE £40k- £60k)\n Location: Birmingham - Jewellery Quarter\n\nWorking Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm - Friday 8am to 4pm \n\nAbout the Role\n\nAre you passionate about recruitment and thrive on matching the right candidate to the right role? Do you enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment where no two days are the same?\n\nWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our growing team at The Job People.\n\nThis is a hands‑on, end‑to‑end 360 recruitment role, ideal for someone with industrial recruitment experience who understands the demands of delivering high‑volume, quality recruitment solutions.\n\nThe primary function of this role is to generate, interview, and the induction of candidates across multiple client sites, including key account responsibilities.\n\nKey Responsibilities for a Recruitment Consultant\n\nManaging full recruitment lifecycle, from placing adverts to onboarding candidates\nGenerating candidates for interview days and client requirements\nConducting off‑site interviews and inductions\nEnsuring 100% compliance with right‑to‑work checks and employment legislation\nMatching candidates accurately to live vacancies\nArranging client interviews and inductions\nBuilding strong, long‑term client relationships and supporting account growth\nSupporting and contributing to The Job People's growth strategy by active business development activities\nMaintaining accurate management information (MI)\nMeeting and exceeding agreed targets and KPIs\nDelivering a consistently positive experience for both candidates and clients\nOn call mobile phone\nBe able to drive to multiple locations as and when required Experience Required for the Recruitment Consultant role \n\nYou will have:\n\nPrevious recruitment consultancy experience (branch, onsite, or account management)\nPrevious experience of managing high volume industrial accounts\nStrong client‑focused and people‑management skills\nA proactive, service‑driven "can‑do" attitude\nThe ability to build strong relationships and truly understand client needs\nExperience managing compliance and employment legislation\nFull UK driving licenceWhat We Offer\n\nCompetitive salary £35,000 basic + bonus scheme (OTE £40k- £60k)\nExcellent growth and development opportunities\nA dynamic, supportive environment within a growing business\nBased in Birmingham - Jewellery Quarter\nIdeally with proven experience within the recruitment consultancy industry.The Job People is acting as an Employment Business in relation to this vacancy.
