Temporary Works Coordinator

An opportunity to work on our KierBAM JV project in Plymouth, delivering major redevelopment works within Devonport Royal Dockyard over the coming years.\nPAYE basis\n£400 - £460 per day depending on experience/qualifications\nPaid Holidays: 30 days per year (including bank holidays)\nMust Have:\n• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or equivalent desirable – BSc, BA, BEng, MEng, Eng Tech, MICE, TIStructE or Higher Apprenticeship.\n• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Temporary Works Coordinator on heavy civils/construction projects.\n• Strong experience with reinforced concrete, formwork and falsework Temporary Works schemes.\n• Experience in major infrastructure projects.\n• Strong understanding of Temporary Works Management procedures.\n• TWC/TWS experience essential.\n• Experience coordinating Temporary Works between site teams and designers.\n• Ability to manage Temporary Works through full design, checking, approval, implementation and dismantling process.\n• Experience carrying out site inspections and issuing Temporary Works Permits.\n• CSCS Card.\n• SMSTS/SSSTS preferred.\n• Excellent organisational and communication skills.\n• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.\n• Commercial awareness and understanding of project processes.\n• Ability to mentor and support less experienced team members.\n• Proactive approach to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards.\n• Experience within Nuclear/Defence sector advantageous.\n• Knowledge of structural steel buildings beneficial.\n• Must be eligible for BPSS Security Clearance.\n• Candidates must hold a passport from a NATO or MISWG member country and have resided in the UK for the past 5 years.\nThis role is site based - Monday to Friday\n42.5 hours per week 08:00am - 17:00pm\nKey Responsibilities:\nCoordinate all Temporary Works activities between site teams, designers, consultants and subcontractors\nReview and manage Temporary Works design briefs and submissions\nEnsure Temporary Works designs are implemented in accordance with approved specifications\nManage Temporary Works through full lifecycle including approval, implementation, use and dismantling\nCarry out site inspections and issue Temporary Works permits\nMaintain compliance with all Joint Venture policies, legal and regulatory requirements\nPromote and maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental and quality compliance\nDevelop and maintain awareness of SHE hazards and associated risks\nManage and coordinate Temporary Works Supervisors\nSupport engineering and delivery teams with Temporary Works requirements\nLiaise with internal, supply chain and external consultants simultaneously\nSupport commercial processes and project delivery requirements\nProvide mentoring and practical support to junior members of the Temporary Works team\nSome Benefits:\nPension\nTraining and upskilling provided\nSafe working environment\nLife Insurance\nSecure regular income\nLodge/Digs can be available.\nSo, if you want to work for a main contractor that cares about their tradesperson, then this is your opportunity to apply and join the project now!\nReliable Contractors Limited are passionate about Equality Diversity and Inclusion continuously working towards best practice and adhering to government legislation.\nWe are a firm believer in Fairness Inclusion and Respect
