Warehouse Despatch Operative\n\nTemporary to Permanent\n\nFull-Time (9:30am – 6:00pm Monday to Thursday and 8:30am – 5:00pm Friday)\n\nSalary dependent on experience\n\nSwindon\n\nWe are excited to be representing our client in looking for a Warehouse Despatch Operative to join their growing team. Assisting the Despatch Team Leader, this is the ideal role for a candidate that has previous all round experience in a busy warehouse operation, and can ensure the efficient daily operation of the despatch area.\n\nDuties and Responsibilities:\n\n * Knowledge and understanding of relevant Export Compliance information.\n\n * Communicate effectively with Sales on queries for customer orders and resolve queries.\n\n * Ensure that FIFO and batch traceability rules are adhered to.\n\n * Daily upkeep of Despatch KPI’s.\n\n * Picking.\n\n * Packing.\n\n * Use of Microsoft packages.\n\n * Any other duties as requested by Management.\n\nThe Person:\n\n * Strong work ethic.\n\n * Ability to work well within a team.\n\n * High level of numeracy and literacy.\n\n * Previous experience of working with a complex picking system.\n\n * Previous experience in a despatch environment.\n\n * PC literate – use of Microsoft packages – Word, Excel and Outlook.\n\n * Experience of Wave Picker and other pick assisting vehicles.\n\nBy applying for this role you give permission for Purely Recruitment to submit your personal information contained within your CV or any other relevant information provided in order for the prospective employer to review your application for the specific role applied for.
